We had breakfast here while staying at the Best Western and were very pleased with the experience. The wait time was minimal, the staff were courteous and professional, and the food was fresh and well-prepared. The prices were also quite reasonable for the quality and service provided. Overall, a great start to our day and a place I would gladly recommend

Went downtown for the Thursday night Christmas shopping. Stopped at Top Notch for dinner. I had the bean burger wrapped in a flour tortilla. It was delicious. All burgers can be wrapped in a tortilla, which I think is an excellent option if you don’t want the bun. My daughter had the truffle fries and a side salad. The fries were homemade and is a winner in my book, I hate frozen boxed fries. My wife had a chicken burger with kettle chips. She loved the chips, homemade and excellent. This is a hidden gem in Nanaimo in my opinion. Delicious food in the perfect location. The service was great and the prices were good. Will be back, thank you.

Decided to come here for a late dinner, it was a great choice! Nothing was overpriced, the wings were beyond excellent and the black and blue burger was amazing!! We loved everything we ordered and can’t stop thinking about those wings! The service was also great, our waiter was super sweet and prompt. I would suggest this place to family and friends who are visiting Nanaimo.

Amanda? (I may have missed your name)was an excellent experience. From the moment we arrived she was the ultimate in customer service. It really made us want to be there. She was attentive, funny, and suggestive when it came to what we would probably like. A warning I said if she was ever wanting to make a career change I would scoop her her in a minute. The drinks and food were perfect. Will definitely be back to the Top Notch Burger.

I finally did something other than a burger Yummmmm just had the cheesiest thick French onion soup with a side of Moroccan quinoa it was a flavour explosion in mouth! My son had panko crusted Brie & a Cesar salad not one bite left! The server was attentive friendly & all around another wonderful experience at my favourite burger joint!

Top Notch is amazing! I’m vegetarian and my husband is a meat eater, and we both leave happy every time. The flavours are out of this world and the staff are so lovely. Highly recommend!

Came for happy hour late Sunday night. One of the few places that were still open, but what a pleasant surprise. Was too full to try their famous burgers, but did order some snacks. All on all, good food, service, and atmosphere.

We came in as a party of 2 at 3PM. It was very quiet and servers were very friendly and attentive. My boyfriend ordered the west coast burger with salmon. It was juicy, and flavourful. I ordered the French onion soup which was very rich and built perfectly with a delectable ratio of cheese to soup. The truffle fries were very crispy and fresh. I also ordered the Caesar salad and it was fresh and dressed perfectly. Overall, we both thoroughly enjoyed our food. Would come again.
